How did Dakota Star Ranch get its name? A handful of years ago we rescued a beautiful Pitbull in Dallas and we named her Dakota. We were likely her fifth owners and we were determined to be her last. We watched her amazing journey from a stressed, scared little creature into a fun-loving, silly, affectionate dog. This story too often relates to how we are jostled from one place to the next, just trying to find our place, home, and family. A place where we can be free to be our authentic self.
The star in our logo symbolizes being unique, true to yourself and who you are called to be. Loved and accepted, you have a purpose that is supposed to shine.
“Let your light so shine before men that they will see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.” (Matthew 5:16 NIV) That’s what the mission of Dakota Star Ranch is all about.
“Each of us is made with unique skills and talents. The secret is finding who we are at the core and bringing that into what we do. Identifying one’s niche gives birth to differentiation while setting the trajectory to leave a legacy.”

When we talk about the community it’s more than just our involvement in the community. Of course it makes it a better place with charitable connections and a healthy desire to help others. The difference maker really is the group of people pulled together operating in one accord.
Come together with a community of people who have the same objective in life as you: be successful and help others do the same. This approach has become an excellent avenue to develop relationships, build business, and help each other grow. As a team we approach things differently and really determine the opportunity for all involved, and realize we’ll find more success by helping others win. We win on so many levels.
