Can’t wait to visit again! Beautiful, quiet, peaceful all we could have ask for! See y’all next time we’re in this area!
I had a fabulous stay at Dakota Star Ranch. The hosts were quick to reply to my request, very communicative before I arrived, and were there to welcome me and show me to a beautiful place to park perfectly situated for an exquisite sunset and sunrise. They introduced me to their farm animals, even letting me pet the hen who laid the eggs I purchased from them. Their produce is grown using organic methods, and their dried culinary herb combinations are to die for! I would definitely return.
So enjoyed our overnight stay at the ranch! 110 acres of peace and tranquility! Best sleep ever and waking up to an amazing sunrise! Loved your farm animals, and Hank for being a great watch dog at night! Thank you Brian and Shannon for sharing your vision for the ranch with us! We wish you many blessings upon your endeavors and hope to return in the future !
We had a wonderful stay at Dakota Star Ranch! Warmly welcomed, enjoyed feeding the animals, purchased the best homemade zucchini bread at the “made in OK” store, followed by a beautiful stroll around the ranch. And the visit wouldn’t be complete without the watchful eye of the sweetest dog Hank. Thank you!!
What a delightful stay at the Dakota Star Ranch!! It was so fun watching Shannon feed the chickens and goats! Such a beautiful place with gorgeous sunset and starry night! Shannon and “Hank” the dog were very welcoming and we bought some great goat soap!
We cannot say enough good things about the Dakota Star Ranch….first of all, Shannon and Brian are the nicest people ever! Their 110-acre ranch is a place for them to help their community by growing food ans rescuing animals. Their little store has some amazing items for sale (get the zucchini bread!!), and their animals are all available for photo ops. These are genuinely GOOD PEOPLE at Dakota Star Ranch! We are definitely hoping to be able to stay there again when we are back in their neck of the woods! (and we will try not to put their amazing dog, Hank, in the truck as we leave…) 🤣
Our hosts were absolutely wonderful and the farm is beautiful. Everything is very clean and the animals are so cute! We were able to get some farm fresh eggs, zucchini bread and Shannon even harvested an entire salad for us from her garden. Top notch stay with wonderful hosts and we hope to see them again.
If you never got to live in the country but want to experience the beauty of it all, this is the place. I live vicariously through wonderful people like our hosts Brian and Shannon Dobbs who greeted us as soon as we pulled in the driveway. The views and natural beauty are breathtaking! We fixed farm fresh eggs for breakfast and ate homemade nut bread from the farm. Hank, the Great Pyrenees who guards the livestock (and I felt us too while we were inside the fences) was a highlight. He visited us for morning coffee and escorted us to the front as we left…Barking a loud good-bye!

Thank you Shannon and Brian for being perfect hosts and extending gracious hospitality! Your property is tremendous and your animals adorable! We fell in love with enormous mascot Hank and your goats and other pups all made for an enjoyable visit. We thank you very much and look forward to a return visit. P.S. Shannons Zucchini bread should be patented !
